Cancellation Policy

How cancellation requests, airline rules, agency handling, no-shows, and travel credits are handled.

Last Updated: September 16, 2026

About this policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellation requests are handled for flight arrangements assisted by Evoflydeals. Cancellation rights, deadlines, penalties, credits, and refund eligibility depend on the airline, ticket type, fare rules, itinerary, timing of the request, and applicable law.

1. About This Policy

Submitting a cancellation request to Evoflydeals does not automatically mean that a ticket has been cancelled. A cancellation is effective only after the request has been processed and confirmed by the applicable airline, ticketing source, booking system, or travel supplier.

For urgent travel, especially same-day or next-day departures, call our support team as soon as possible.

2. Information Needed for a Cancellation Request

To help us locate and review your booking, you may need to provide accurate information connected with the reservation.

  • Booking reference or confirmation number
  • Passenger name as it appears on the ticket
  • Travel dates and flight details
  • Email address or phone number used for the booking
  • Reason for the cancellation request
  • Any airline notice or schedule change communication you received

3. Airline and Supplier Rules

Most airline tickets are governed by fare rules set by the airline or ticketing supplier. Evoflydeals can help explain available options, but we cannot override airline restrictions, supplier rules, government requirements, or payment processor limitations.

  • Some tickets may be fully refundable.
  • Some tickets may be refundable only before a deadline.
  • Some tickets may allow travel credit instead of cash refund.
  • Some tickets may be non-refundable unless the airline cancels or significantly changes the flight.
  • Partially used tickets may have different conditions from unused tickets.

4. Voluntary Cancellations

A voluntary cancellation is a request made by the customer when the flight is still scheduled to operate and the customer chooses not to travel. Voluntary cancellations are generally governed by the ticket's fare rules and any disclosed agency terms.

Depending on those rules, the outcome may include a refund, travel credit, partial credit, airline credit after penalties, or no remaining value.

5. Airline Cancellations and Significant Changes

If an airline cancels a flight or makes a significant schedule change, you may have rights under applicable aviation consumer protection rules. These rights can exist even when a ticket is described as non-refundable.

Available options may include refund, rebooking, travel credit, or other alternatives communicated by the airline. You should review the airline's notice and tell us whether you want to accept an alternative or request a refund where available.

6. 24-Hour Cancellation or Hold Rules

For certain airline tickets purchased at least seven days before scheduled departure, U.S. rules generally require airlines to either allow a 24-hour penalty-free cancellation or hold a reservation at the quoted fare for 24 hours. Airlines are not required to offer both options.

The rule may apply differently depending on whether the booking was made directly with the airline, through a ticket agent, through a supplier, or under a particular fare program. Contact Evoflydeals promptly if you believe your booking may qualify.

7. No-Shows

If a traveler does not cancel before departure and does not board the scheduled flight, the ticket may be treated as a no-show. A no-show can result in cancellation of remaining segments and loss of some or all ticket value.

If you know you cannot travel, contact us or the airline before departure whenever possible.

8. Agency Cancellation Handling Fees

Where permitted by law and disclosed before the request is finalized, Evoflydeals may charge a cancellation handling fee for agency assistance.

  • Domestic cancellation handling may be up to $25 per passenger.
  • International cancellation handling may be up to $75 per passenger.
  • Airline penalties, fare differences, and supplier fees may apply separately.
  • Fees may vary depending on ticket rules, itinerary complexity, and the work required.

9. Travel Credits

Some cancellations result in airline credit or travel credit rather than a cash refund. Travel credits may be subject to airline restrictions.

  • Expiration dates
  • Passenger name restrictions
  • Route or airline restrictions
  • Fare difference requirements
  • Rebooking deadlines
  • Non-transferability rules

10. Group, Multi-City, and Complex Itineraries

Group travel, multi-city travel, split tickets, codeshare flights, business class travel, first class travel, and international itineraries may involve additional supplier rules and processing time.

Cancelling one portion of a complex itinerary may affect other portions of the trip. Ask our team to review the consequences before authorizing a cancellation.

11. Refund Timing After Cancellation

Cancellation and refund processing are separate steps. A cancelled booking does not always mean a refund has been approved, submitted, or posted by the bank.

If a refund is approved, the timeline may depend on the airline, ticketing source, payment processor, card issuer, and original payment method. Please review our Refund Policy for more detail.

12. Changes to This Cancellation Policy

Evoflydeals may update this Cancellation Policy to reflect changes in airline procedures, supplier requirements, legal obligations, or our service practices. Updates will be posted on Evoflydeals.com with a revised Last Updated date.
